During the past 19 years as a realtor, Cath’s focus has been on facilitating the acquisition of homes for people from all parts of the economic spectrum. She has a long- held interest in making affordable housing options more readily available to those who want them. She found herself attracted to the Homeward Bound Community Land Trust, to both its goals and design in early 2009.

Cath’s diverse professional background includes being an educator, mental health professional, marketing consultant, and life coach. One of her most satisfying community building involvements was in Waimea (Kamuela) on the Big Island of Hawaii (1988-1993) where she was part of a three-member management team for the Waimea Main Street Program.
