Application Process
During the orientation phase the prospective homebuyer meets with the Housing Counselor of Homeward Bound in a private one-on-one session.
At Homeward Bound beyond the concern for sustainable affordable housing, there is a value placed on helping interested homebuyers understand what home ownership entails at a very practical level and what is involved in becoming a Homeward Bound homeowner. Even though there are several steps to the process, each participant in the program will be guided through the process by a Housing Counselor. The pieces of process, though several, have been designed to provide as much information to the prospective homebuyer as possible without making the process overwhelming.
